Sintelly Ltd. (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed on updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including any in-game virtual items, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

Basic Account Information

You don’t have to create an account to use some of our service features, such as searching and viewing public Sintelly profiles and/or public content. If you do choose to create an account, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide our services to you. On Sintelly this includes a display name (for example, “Sintelly App”), a username (for example, “sintellyapp”), a password, and an email address. Your display name and username are always public, but you can use either your real name or a pseudonym. Providing this information allows you to use our Application freely or subscribe to our Premium services.

If you buy Sintelly Premium, you will be able to use the app when offline, without ads and you will also receive access to our text-to-speech reader.

Information Collected About You from Social Networks and Third Parties

We may also collect information about you from other third parties. For example, we may collect information about you from social networking platforms, such as your user name, name, gender, general location, time zone, birthday, your “likes”, profile picture and friends.

If you “like” or “follow” us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other social media sites, we may collect some information from you, including your name, email address, and any comments or content you post relevant to us. We may also collect information if you sign up for a promotion or submit information to us through partners or social media sites.

We may also collect demographics information from public sources and from third-party data and analytics companies, advertising networks, and others. We use this information to enhance the data we already have.

Direct Messages and Non-Public Communications

We provide certain features that let you communicate more privately or control who sees your content. For example, you can use Direct Messages to have non-public conversations on Sintelly. When you communicate with others by sending or receiving Direct Messages, we will store and process your communications and information related to them. This includes link scanning for malicious content, detection of spam and prohibited images, and review of reported issues. We also use information about whom you have communicated with and when (but not the content of those communications) to better understand the use of our services, to protect the safety and integrity of our platform, and to show more relevant content. We share the content of your Direct Messages with the people you’ve sent them to; we do not use them to serve you ads.

Notifications

By downloading our mobile application, you consent to receiving push notifications, advertising messages and text messages from Sintelly Ltd. relating to our products and services. To opt-out of receiving push notifications, you can disable push notifications on your mobile device system settings or in mobile application settings.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. The app does not record audio, video, conversations, or any other surrounding sounds.

Local storage

We use local storage technology to store your preferences, local notification, settings and make your user experience more consistent. Local storage is a persistent type of storage, that provides similar functionality to cookies, but its contents are not transmitted across the Internet, like cookies are. When you uninstall the Application, local storage will be automatically deleted.

Third-Party Data

Firebase Analytics: This Application uses Firebase tools provided by Firebase, a Google company. We use the information we get from Firebase tools to administer, develop and improve our services and applications. Firebase uses ‘cookies’. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Firebase about your use of the App is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (available at link). You may learn more about how Google collects and processes data specifically in connection with Firebase at link. You can prevent “Firebase Analytics” by uninstalling this Application.

AdMob: We also use AdMob to serve ads in the Application. This third-party software may use cookies or similar tracking technology to help manage and optimize your online experience with us.

Algolia: We use Algolia search-as-a-service solution which collects information only on the number of times a particular search has been conducted and the keywords used; it does not collect any information about the users themselves.

The Application does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Links might be discovered on our platform, apps, or our website that belong to third parties.

Real-Time Location Information

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.

What do we use your information for?

To personalize your experience your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs.

To improve our Application we continually strive to improve our website and app offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

You may in most cases opt out of receiving push notifications by going to your device “Settings” and clicking on “Push notifications,” and then changing those settings for some or all of the apps on your device.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We do not retain User Provided data after uninstall Application and we are not responsible for out third-party service.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected]. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

How to delete my data?

The easiest way to delete your data is to go to the last tab, “Profile”, then open “Settings” (upper right icon) and click on the “Delete Profile” option. This act deletes all data collected by the application.

Another way to delete data is that day you send us a direct mail to [email protected], and we will take care of the deletion.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may request a list of certain third parties to which we have disclosed personal information, as defined in California’s “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), about you for their own direct marketing purposes. You may make one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for your response.
